New Leaf has emerged as a unique garden service that focuses on sustainable gardens at home, at school and throughout the community. New Leaf specializes in creating outdoor spaces that deepen the visitor's connection with nature. This is accomplished by the use of plant and hardscaping materials that stimulate the five senses.

 

Children's Gardening is a strong focus of New Leaf. Children's Gardening gives youth the opportunity to strengthen their connection with nature. Studies show that children who spend time in unhurried nature-infused environments are better learners and are more involved as stewards of their environment. As a Master Gardener and the Horticultural Specialist at the Long Island Children's Museum, I have participated in coursework and numbers workshops. And as a Certified Nature Explore Classroom landscape designer, I understand the design opportunities that make a successful outdoor learning environment.

 

I have been a resident of Rockville Centre for more then 20 yrs, actively raising my three children. I look forward to gardening with you.
